New Year's resolutions and other topics

People wish me that all my dreams to come true in 2009. While this is something that would be a dream itself and somewhat quite amazing to happen as I have lots of dreams to pursue, I am also thinking - what if all my dreams really come true in one year (next year that is!) and then what? Enjoy the dreams which came true? Will I get other dreams to pursue? Will I be happy with all my dreams coming true all in one go, in one year? For me, enjoying the ride, enjoying my life while I am pursuing my dreams are as important as achieving my goals, getting to live my dreams... So I am not sure I will be happy knowing that all my dreams would come true next year. Of course I would like at least some of them to come true. There are also the necesities, like getting a job, and that is not on my below list. Is something that it has to be done, with no choice over it.

New year's resolutions for me are not exactly resolutions, are more or less steps to follow, goals to achieve, and they are in no particular order:

be more childish

enjoy life more

visit more places

go out more often

get driving lessons and get that driving licence

list will remain open

So Happy New Year Everyone and may all your dreams come true! (not necessarily all of them in 2009!)

- Mommy, are you a teacher?
- No, darling, I am not a teacher
- But Holly Anne's mommy is a teacher
- I am not...
- But I want you to be a teacher when you grow up.
- I am already grown up. My job is to work with computers my love. I went to a different school than Holly Anne's mommy. I went to a school where you learn how to work with computers. Holly Anne's mommy went to a school where she learnt how to be a teacher.
- Then I have to go to an Astronaut school, if I want to become an astronaut
- Yes
- But I am going to a teacher's school now
- Don't worry, you're on the right track. All children go to same schools until they get bigger and then they go to special schools to learn how to become what they want to be.
- So, when I am bigger, I am going to an Astronaut school!
